The hotel offers great views towards the financial district and is perfect for exploring old school New York with plenty of nearby restaurants. The rooms are cozy but a bit noisy, lacking cabinets or closets, yet perfect for enjoying the iconic view. The service is exceptional, with solicitous and professional staff. Dining options are limited, but the location is ideal for exploring the vibrant neighborhood. Overall, a good value stay with a few minor drawbacks.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were compact but had all I needed, with lovely bathrooms and great views. The outstanding service made my stay truly special, although using the guest elevators could get a bit busy. The location was perfect for exploring Lower East Side and within walking distance to SoHo and the Village. The dining options were high standard, offering a choice of yogurt parfait or pastries in the morning.

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant. The rooms were nicely decorated, had a comfortable bed and a great shower, and we had a good amount of space for our week-long stay. The location near Essex subway was spot on, with comfy beds and pretty interiors. However, the area was a bit tricky to navigate on the subway after 8.30pm.

The rooms were pretty tight but nicely decorated, with a comfortable bed and a great shower. Given that we stayed for a week, we found the space adequate.
Service

The service was wonderful, with helpful and extremely professional staff. However, there was a bit of inconvenience with not enough space for luggage due to the chair placement near the door.
Location

The hotel's location in the most eclectic part of town with cool bars and cafes was very cool. While exploring the independent shops on the Lower East Side and East Village was fantastic, getting around on the subway system after 8.30pm was a bit challenging.
Dining

The dining experience was a mixed bag. The hotel offered only a choice of yogurt, pastries, and fruit, which was a bit disappointing for a high-quality hotel. However, the granola I had every morning was good.

Staying at The Ludlow for 5 nights with our teenage daughter in a Ludlow Double room was a mix of great views but cramped space. The room, though small, had a very good size bathroom with a shower, a coffee machine for a complimentary cup of coffee, and a wider variety mini bar than expected. The balcony had lovely loungers with table and chairs to enjoy a nice glass of wine, overlooking the hustle and bustle below on the street.
Rooms

The room was small, yet thoughtfully designed, feeling spacious, interesting, and homey all at the same time.
Service

The staff at the attached restaurant 'Dirty French' were fabulous, providing the best customer service throughout. They were always extremely helpful and friendly, offering room service, dry cleaning, housekeeping, laundry, welcome drink, and even pet amenities.
Location

The location was excellent, near the subway, with a great gym and a fabulous bathtub in the loft room. The view of the surrounding area from the room definitely added a spacious feel, and the vibe without the gentrification of Soho and Times Square was refreshing.
Dining

The dining experience was good, with fresh fruit, Balthazar pastries, fresh juice, and okay coffee. Although slightly on the high price side, there are plenty of great breakfast places nearby to explore.
Facilities

The hotel's location was very convenient, close to good dining options, nightlife, and public transportation. It's a hip area with walking distance to many clubs, restaurants, and shops. However, it may not suit those looking for a more touristy atmosphere.
Dining

The dining experience was acceptable. The breakfast offered fresh fruit, pastries, and juice, but the speed of service could be improved, especially when toasting bagels individually. The selection was somewhat limited for a higher-end hotel.

The service was top-notch, with friendly staff always ready to assist, though a slight miss on some details. The location is superb, surrounded by fabulous shops and eateries, making exploration a delight. Dining was enjoyable, especially the hand-cut steaks, but could use a bit more variety. Overall, a fantastic stay with a few minor hiccups.
